An additional centre seal contour minimizes the risk of drafts and reduces heat loss even in severe frosts. In addition to high thermal insulation performance, the advantages of Kömmerling 76MD include excellent sound insulation and resistance to break-in attempts. The rigid multi-chamber profile well restrains sound waves, and outstanding mechanical qualities make it much more difficult to attempt a force break. The enlarged light aperture is another argument in favor of the Kömmerling 76MD . Profile proportions increase the amount of natural light entering the room — while fully preserving the other advantages.

The installation depth of the KÖMMERLING 76MD profile is 76 mm. This makes it possible to combine windows with structures based on other KÖMMERLING profiles with a similar depth. At the same time, all the advantages of the system are preserved – heat and sound insulation, safety and an enlarged light opening.

6 air chambers

The KÖMMERLING 76MD six-chamber profile has excellent stiffness and thermal insulation properties. The multi-chamber structure prevents deformation of the profile even with large structure dimensions. Six insulated chambers and an additional sealing contour prevent from heat loss and drafts.

A multilayered glass pane up to 50 mm wide

Based on KÖMMERLING 76MD the maximum glazing thickness that can be installed in a structure is 50 mm. And this means that thanks to the optimal filling, it is possible to achieve the highest values in energy saving, sun protection, sound insulation and safety.
