One of the present-day trends in architecture is extension of glazing space. But if earlier such solutions were used mainly in office buildings, today “glass walls” are often applied in private houses as well. The abundance of natural light penetrating through such glazing just transforms the room. But at the same time, traditional hinged leafs with a large area take up a lot of space when opened, so they are increasingly being converted to sliding systems. The PrimePort mounting mechanism, when closed, ensures a strong hold down of the leaf to the frame; and when opened, the leaf moves to the side taking up almost no space.

PrimePort sliding systems can be an excellent choice for glazing verandas, sun-lounges, balconies or recessed balconies, i.e. any place where you need to save useful space.

For opening the widest passage and removing any obstacles in the way of natural lighting, sliding structures based on the PrimePort hardware system can be made in several options. DuoPort SK-S is designed for 100 to 160 kg leafs on the basis of narrow profile. DuoPort SK-Z is an ideal solution for 160 to 200 kg leafs made of wide and heavy profile systems. DuoPort PAS is a unique innovative product for portal-column type constructions with increased safety requirements.

High energy efficiency

With a large area of glazing, it is very important to minimize heat loss. The combination of a multi-chamber plastic profile, an energy-efficient insulated glass unit, an elastic weather strip and fittings that provide strong hold down around the entire perimeter of the leaf allows conserving most of the heat inside the room.

Thanks to the increased roller diameter of up to 28 mm, in result extra heavy doors slide almost without much effort, easily and conveniently. As a result of 125 mm protrusion of the sash from the frame, the PrimePort SK-S fittings are universal in use. The presence of a tilting position allows you to air the room without opening the door completely.
